Outdoor Voices – A young company setting out to define a new space in activewear

When I discovered the stunning fitness apparel by Outdoor Voices this week I couldn’t help but feel envious of all the people living in the US. The brand creates the most beautiful sportswear I’ve ever seen and it’s not available in Europe…well… (in case anyone knows a similar brand located in Europe, please let me know!)

The founders of Outdoor Voices believe that fitness doesn’t have to be defined by performance. They celebrate approaching activity with moderation, humor, and delight. Simply living by the tenet that doing things is better than not doing things. The technical apparel by Outdoor Voices is designed for lives spent on paths, fields, streets, and everything in between. With headquarters in New York and Austin, Texas, their goal is to bring people together through activity, starting with themselves. From team yoga and games of basketball, to field-testing each design to make sure items hop, skip, and jump just the way they intend them to, casual activity is baked into everything they do.

We’re building a brand for our generation; a brand that believes the active lifestyle should be less about being superhuman and a lot more about being a real human—connecting, playing, and experiencing. We are building an artful, imagery-driven and experimental OV world that provides product, pleasure and value to our customer. We are inspired by lives spent on paths, fields, and streets, and are forming a group of like-minded beings to be part of the journey.
