The Finefood restaurant and coffee shop in Hammarby Sjöstad (an exciting new district in the south of Stockholm) was redesigned by Swedish design studio Note. Note is a Stockholm-based design studio founded in 2008 working within the fields of architecture, interiors, products, graphic design and design strategy.
The interior of Finefood was inspired by a photo series of Death Valley by American artist Jordan Sullivan. In his pictures he captured the subtle variation and soft color changes of daylight that turns the harsh landscape into a poetic, inspiring place.

The palette is like eye-candy – very addicting. The spaces make me want to sit around with friends and reminisce about the good ol’ days with an orange soda! <3
I love what you’ve said, it’s really a little like this place transfers you to another world.
