Tallulah Fontaine is an illustrator and zine maker currently based in Toronto, Canada. When I stumbled across her Instagram account a few weeks ago I immediately fell in love with her work (and her haircut, which would never work with my hair, but still, I love it).
Her style is a mixture of drawings, watercolour and gouache paintings. Tallulah says she is inspired by many things: Road trips, a song, the way her friend’s hands look when she’s combing her hair. Usually she is trying to convey a memory, a moment that was significant to her. Make sure to follow along this artist, I think we will see and read a lot about Tallulah Fontaine in the future.
