Golden Biscotti was founded 5 years ago by Nicole Lehner, a talented young product designer from Switzerland. During her studies Nicole became interested in local, hand-crafted products. Impressed by the enormous storehouse of knowledge of materials and workmanship possessed by these artisans, she is always in search of new manufacturing partners. When she is talking with them about crafting techniques and materials, it gives her ideas for new designs that combine contemporary forms with traditional manufacturing techniques.

It is important to Nicole to work closely with artisans to create sustainable products with simple and straightforward designs for everyday use. Her label Golden Biscotti grew out of her love for this craftsmanship, local production and natural materials. The label also stands for products crafted in small runs with great care in Switzerland.
