Hobes Shoes

Much like finding the perfect tee, or great fitting pair of jeans, Hobes shoes founder Georgia Hobart felt something was missing in the market when it came to footwear basics. With an eye for simple styling, Georgia set about producing classic handmade suede shoes constructed from traditional Italian techniques. The resulting Hobes range offers a well thought out collection of wardrobe staples, combining simple shapes with seasonal colors. Hobes offers the ultimate in effortless and timeless footwear and with each pair weighing 200 – 300g, Hobes are also the perfect travel companion and great to wear during warm summer days.

Hobes shoes are designed in Melbourne, Australia and handmade by their production team in Hong Kong. Their Hong Kong team is lead by a fourth generation Italian boot maker who uses traditional Italian boot making techniques in the development. All Hobes are made from a 100% unlined leather upper, with a thin, flexible but highly durable rubber sole. Each pair of Hobes is incredibly lightweight – making for easy holiday packing! The warm Wooly Hobes are lined with soft Australian lambswool, which has been sourced from the Hobes family farm in country Victoria.
