The city maps by Herb Lester Associates are a welcome change to conventional city guides. Each map has a different design accompanied by illustrations of various artists. The aim of Herb Lester is not to tell the readers everything there is to know about a city, but to tell them how to really enjoy it. They achieve this by researching each city the old-fashioned way: asking friends, acquaintances, cab drivers and concierges for their tips and then walking, tasting, sipping, and peering into doorways and down alleys.
All maps are printed in England on 100% recycled paper. You can buy them on the website of Herb Lester or at Papersmiths. I think I might purchase the Rome and Paris maps, because Iād really like to visit these beautiful cities again soon. What about you, is your favorite destination among the maps?

Yes, do it! Unfortunately I couldn’t find them anywhere here, but perhaps it’s better like this š
I adore all of these š I’m so bummed that I was just in Seattle and didn’t bring one along… though I will probably still end snagging one because I love it so much!

These maps are absolutely brilliant – both for the trip itself as well as decoration in a frame for your room afterwards!
