Martina Lang grew up in rural Bavaria, close to the Alps, and studied photography in Stuttgart where she graduated with honors. She moved to London with the help of a scholarship award and completed a Masters in Communication Design at Central Saint Martins University. Currently Martina Lang is working as a freelance photographer and art director.
Her photographs and art direction are characterised by underlying tones of humour and surrealism. Martina’s recent photography series Paper/Plant playfully captures little plants on a colourful, graphic hide and seek adventure.
