The Tokyoiter is made by illustration and drawing freaks who are willing to present the talent of artists they like to a larger audience. Some of them are illustrators and some are just living in Tokyo, a wonderful city full of stories and daily inspiration. The Tokyoiter wants to celebrate the passion for this city and the story of its inhabitants.

Each cover is supposed to be a testimony of what is making Tokyo such a fascinating place to live and visit. Also this project is a tribute to the traditional cover art of The New Yorker and The Parisianer. Do you remember my blogpost about The Parisianer? (It was the 2nd post I wrote for this blog, can you believe it?) Well, if you have seen this post you probably know that the initiators of The Parisianer even created a book with all the covers! Hopefully there will be something similar of The Tokyoiter soon.
